My name is Mrs Higgs and I teach in Elm Class.

Hello, I’m Mrs Higgs, the current Elm Class teacher. Over the years, I have enjoyed working across a range of roles and year groups within school, including supporting children with SEND, although most of my experience has been with the younger children. 

I especially enjoy teaching phonics and watching children’s early reading skills develop, as it opens the door to the rest of the curriculum and builds their confidence as learners. I feel very lucky to be part of such a supportive and joyful school community, where we make new memories every day there are always plenty of smiles on our journey together. 

I am looking forward to another exciting year of learning and making memories with Elm Class.
