In Design and technology, we have been designing and making Pop-Up book with mechanical mechanisms to share with children in Ash class.
Here are some of our designs based on familiar nursery rhymes.
Rowan Class
In Rowan class, we have been busy this term making Pop-Up books for our Design and Technology topic. The children made nursery rhyme books with pop-up mechanisms including sliders and levers to make a colourful and engaging read for Reception and Year 1 children. We really enjoyed sharing our stories with Beech class!
Sycamore and Willow Class
This term in Year 6, we have been learning about WW2 and the impact it had on the people of Britain.
We have learnt about the Battle of Britain, the Blitz and what evacuation meant for children.
We even spent a day planning, making and evaluating our own Anderson Shelters! Have a look at some of our amazing work!
