This week, in Poplar, we published our biographies and shared them with our intended audiences.
Rowan Class
In Rowan Class, we have really enjoyed our English topic on biographies. We spent time researching groundbreaking figures who have had a significant impact on the world. We learnt about their lives, achievements, and the challenges they faced, and explored why they are remembered today. We shared them with our intended audience after publishing them and made a class text that is displayed in our reading area.
Sycamore Class
In Science, Sycamore class have been learning about Charles Darwin’s discoveries on finches in the Galapagos Islands. We tested out different beak shapes to see which finch would survive and thrive on our island.
