Maple Year 3/4

In science we looked identified exoskeletons from a range of animals. We had great fun designing and making them. Some of us didn't want to take them off!

In Maple class, we lead our very own act of worships on a weekly basis. Each group selects their focus and makes use of resources from home and school to share with the rest of the class.

In literacy, we wrote our own set of instructions for our partners to follow. They used them to recreate a reflections picture. We learnt that it was really important to keep our instructions clear and precise!

In our new science topic, we will be investigating states of matter.

In history, we are learning all about the bronze age. We visited' The Celtic Harmony Camp' in Hertford.

Our trip to 'The Celtic Harmony Camp'

We had our faces painted to welcome us to the Iron Age tribe.

Making dough using flour we grindedon quern stones.

In art, we painted our own celebrity portraits in the style of Andy Warhol. It was good fun!

As part of our Seasonal Food topic we made a delicious fruit smoothie with Mrs Mishan and some special helpers.
